What is the Full Moon Walk?

A unique nighttime experience within the Iguazú National Park, very different from the traditional daytime visit.

During the full moon nights in Iguazú you can enjoy the Iguazú Falls in a totally different way: it is the Full Moon Walk in Falls. The tour begins by boarding the ecological jungle train to the Garganta del Diablo station.


The full moon walk in the Falls is one of the most spectacular and unforgettable experiences, since it allows you to contemplate the falls through the natural luminosity of the moon and experience the park in a completely different atmosphere than the daytime visit.


The experience begins at the central station with a brief talk with park guides. Then the transfer takes place on the ecological train to the Garganta del Diablo station, from where the night walk begins to the viewpoint of the most impressive waterfall of the Iguazú Falls.

What is the experience like?

The night tour proposes a quieter, more exclusive and sensory way to get to know the Devil's Throat.

1. Reception and welcome

The ride begins at the park's central station, where the group receives a brief introduction before starting the tour.

2. Jungle Ecological Train

Then you will be transferred by train to Garganta del Diablo station, in a much calmer environment than during the day.

3. Walk to the balcony

From there begins the walk along the walkways to the main viewpoint, with the Falls illuminated by the moon and the sound of water as the protagonist.

Important recommendation

During the tour it is advisable to maintain silence and walk calmly. This allows you to better connect with the environment and live the experience in a much more intense and special way.

The tour takes place during full moon nights, so it is not available every day of the month.

Night shifts

It is usually organized into three approximate times: 19:45 , 20:30 and 21:15 hours .

Duration

The experience lasts approximately 2 hours and a half .

Important: as this is an experience with limited dates and reduced spaces, it is advisable to book in advance.

Rates / Prices of the Tour

Price: $ 95.000 per person.


Children between 6 and 11 years pay 50 % and children under 6 years do not pay for the night walk.

Weather conditions and cancellations

Full moon walks are subject to weather and safety conditions. If the necessary conditions are not met, the activity may be canceled, even once visitors have already arrived at the park.


In case of suspension for weather reasons, the 100 % refund of the amount paid corresponds, in the same payment method used. The refund does not include transportation costs to and from the park.


If the cancellation is due to the visitor's particular reasons, there is no refund if it is not made at least 48 hours in advance .
