Visit details
What is the Devil's Throat?
The most impressive point of the Iguazú Falls and, for many, the strongest moment of the entire visit.
The Devil's Throat is the most emblematic waterfall of the Iguazú National Park and one of the most impressive sectors of the entire route.
It is a large horseshoe-shaped waterfall where a good part of the flow of the Iguazú River is concentrated. The view from the main balcony is frontal and very close, which is why the experience feels different from other circuits in the park.
For many people, this is the place that has the most impact during a visit to Falls.

How to get to Devil's Throat

To get to the circuit you have to take the Jungle Ecological Train from the Central Station or from the Cataratas Station.
The train leaves you at the Garganta del Diablo Station , where the 1.100 meter walk along walkways over the Superior Iguazú River begins.
The route is completely flat and one of the most accessible within the park.
Circuit schedules
Access to Garganta del Diablo depends on the operation of the park's internal train.
First train: 8:20 hours
Last train to go: 15:30 hours

What are you going to see in Devil's Throat
The tour ends on a panoramic balcony right in front of the main jump.
You will feel the constant noise of the water, a lot of mist in the environment and a completely open view of the fall.
During almost the entire route there is no shade, since the walkways go over the Superior Iguazú River. On very hot days or high temperatures, the sun is felt quite a bit.
On days with high flow, the steam cloud can be intense and even wet those who are at the viewpoint.
