What is Travesía Iguazú?
A Falls excursion combining rainforest and a boat ride, returning to Puerto Iguazú by river.
Travesía Iguazú follows the Yacaratiá trail, then continues by boat along the Iguazú River to its confluence with the Paraná in the Three Borders area. Bilingual guides accompany the activity, which ends at the town's port.
Our package includes private transfers from your hotel to the park and from the port back to your hotel. Before Travesía, you can explore the park's walking trails independently, without a guide.

Jungle tour
The activity begins with a vehicle tour along the Yacaratiá trail, where guides introduce the Atlantic Forest's features.
Arrival at the boarding point
After the land tour, you reach the boarding point to continue by boat.
Boat ride on the Iguazú River
The route to Puerto Iguazú passes rocky shores and riverside forest. Depending on the schedule and conditions, you may enjoy the scenery at sunset.
Three Borders and the local port
The boat ride reaches the confluence with the Paraná River and ends at the port of Puerto Iguazú. From there, we arrange your private return transfer.

Arrive at the agreed meeting point and time to begin the activity. From there, bilingual guides accompany the rainforest tour and boat ride.
Return to your hotel or visit the Hito
After disembarking at the local port, you can take the private transfer to your hotel or visit Hito Tres Fronteras independently and arrange pickup from there.

Transfers are private for your group. This allows you to arrange departure to the park and coordinate your return around your plans after the boat ride.
As the local port is near Hito Tres Fronteras , you can disembark, visit independently and arrange pickup there to return to your hotel at the agreed time.
Arrange this option when booking. Flexibility applies to private transfers. Travesía Iguazú has fixed check-in and departure times that must be respected.

Travesía Iguazú has a single departure at 16:00. We arrange the check-in time and meeting point in advance so you have enough time for your walks. Flexible timings apply to the private transfers from the hotel to the park and from the port to the hotel. Operation and route are subject to river and weather conditions.

The day combines the outward transfer, time to explore trails independently, Travesía Iguazú and the return to your hotel. Total duration depends on the agreed departure time and whether you add a visit to Hito Tres Fronteras.
