The Gran Aventura is one of the most chosen activities to do in Iguazú Falls. It combines a tour through the Misiones jungle with a boat ride to the jumps area.
The experience begins with a vehicle tour of approximately 5 kilometers, accompanied by bilingual guides who interpret the natural and cultural riches of the Iguazú National Park.
Then, the land tour culminates in Puerto Macuco, where the boats are boarded to navigate some 6 kilometers through the canyon of the lower Iguazú River towards the waterfall area.
It is the most impressive section of the excursion: you will have a very close perspective of the falls and a completely different view of the falls.
The Gran Aventura is also known as the waterfall excursion, although it includes much more than navigation.
What is the experience like?
The tour combines a first part through the jungle and a second stage by boat along the river.
Jungle tour
The activity begins with a vehicle journey of about 5 km through the Misiones jungle within the park.
Arrival at Puerto Macuco
The land tour ends at the port, from where the nautical part of the excursion begins.
Boat navigation
You navigate approximately 6 km along the lower Iguazú River towards the waterfall area.
